Consultants are an integral component of PROCEED’s national capacity building program. Our Consultants operate as extended staff that align their approach and work with the practices, principles and values of PROCEED NCTSTA which include: Relationship building, Cultural and Linguistic Competence, Confidentiality, Collaboration, Empowerment and Sustainability, Innovation and Evaluation and Quality Assurance and Professionalism.
We are committed to recruiting and hiring diverse and highly skilled consultants with expertise across relevant fields, including :implementation science, organizational development, health services delivery, curriculum development, communications and social marketing, and more. Consultants with experience working with racial/ethnic and sexual minority organizations and organizations that serve these groups, are especially encouraged to complete a Consultant Application.
Subject matter expert consultants in the following areas are sought on an on-going basis:
- Health care access, social determinants of health, health equity and care competence
- Curriculum Development and Training
- Fund and Resource Development
- Human Resource development
- Evidence- informed/ Best Practice Program Implementation models
- Communications, Design, and Social Media Marketing
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Competence

Interns
PROCEED, Inc. NCTSTA offers internship opportunities for students earning undergraduate or Master’s level degrees who are interested in acquiring skills and gaining experience in the public health, organizational development and capacity building and training fields.
NCTSTA staff work closely with each intern to develop achievable internship goals and a workplan that is regularly reviewed. We customize the internship experience to meet the student’s educational program requirements and personal goals while contributing to PROCEED NCTSTA’s projects in a meaningful way.
We accept interns on a rolling basis, and reviews applications throughout the year. Internship placements are largely driven by individual project’s needs.
