Child Abuse & Neglect

Child Abuse and Neglect Can Be Prevented

For over twenty-five years, PROCEED has provided both in-home counseling services and one-on-one counseling for children and parents affected by child abuse and neglect. We believe that child abuse and neglect are often the manifestations of other problems within a family, and therefore must be acknowledged and addressed by the family. In light of this, PROCEED takes a holistic approach to addressing these issues.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

· Individual Counseling

· Family Counseling

· Group Counseling

· Parenting Skills

· Case Management

· Advocacy Domestic Violence Counseling

Not only do we take concrete steps to first ensure the protection and safety of the child, but our experienced counselors also help families work through problems that may be disrupting how the family functions. As part of our case management strategy, both adult and child family members are either individually referred to additional services or recommended for group family counseling, as appropriate.
