PROCEED, Inc.’s National Center for Training, Support and Technical Assistance (NCTSTA) provides customized capacity building services and cutting-edge training and technical assistance to non-profit community-based health and human services organizations, civic organizations, health departments, governmental organizations, and academic institutions that are seeking ways to maximize current resources, talent, and technology to become more effective, efficient, and self-sustaining.
People are at the center of our work. We believe that a continual investment in enhancing the knowledge, skills, and practices of the people that comprise the health and human services workforce, contributes to stronger, more viable organizations centered in community wellness.
Our capacity building services are tailored to meet the unique needs of every organization and its workforce and constituents. We offer trainings and technical assistance across a wide range of areas and disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Leadership development, coaching, management training, supervision and support
- Health equity, cultural and linguistic competence, and language access services;
- Organizational development and sustainability;
- Resource development;
- Selection and implementation of evidence-informed/evidence-based substance use, HIV/STD prevention and Mental Health interventions and services;
- Communications, media and marketing;
- Community mobilization, and policy advocacy;
We offer flexible and blended learning capacity building services in formats that best accommodate our customers, including in-person and web-based instruction and consultation, web-based learning, teleconferences, communities of practice, virtual coaching, and peer mentoring. Our trainings range from two-hour staff in-service trainings and webinars, to multi-day topic-specific skills-building Institutes and virtual conferences. Subject matter expert staff and consultants that are recognized as leaders in their respective fields, deliver state of the science skills development training and performance enhancing technical assistance to increase the knowledge and competencies of the health and human services workforce and strengthen the organizations where they work.
Capacity building services are offered cost-free or on fee-for-service basis. Contact us for an estimate on a customized training and technical assistance package. Organizations that meet specific eligibility criteria can qualify for cost-free services under our CDC funded CBA for Health Equity program.
